Green Up South Hero is an annual event that brings the community together to keep South Hero town clean and litter-free.

South Hero’s Conservation Commission will be coordinating this year’s Green Up Day. Please go to Conservation Commission website for more information about how to sign up.

As part of this event, SHLT is hosting a clean-up and restoration event at the South Hero Rec Park. This is a great option for families with young children who may not want to be along a road, and as an overflow event for anyone who might not be assigned a road section. 

Please use this RSVP form to let us know you’re coming, so we can make sure we have enough supplies. Drop-ins also welcome!

We also plan to host our free Annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Folsom. All are welcome to come together and enjoy some good food and community.
